92 Katherine Street is a three-bedroom terraced house, which was originally built between 1900-1929. Once purchased by ourselves, we began renovations which were completed in 2021.
The property itself includes: three bedrooms, a living space, a kitchen and one bathroom. This property was redesigned interiorly by ourselves which resulted in a more modern interior creating a house which is both tidy and functional but allows comfort through the freedom of refurnishing.
The kitchen was created by our team and Howdens Joinery. The kitchen is fitted with anthracite glossed cabinets and white countertops which creates a more modern, monochromatic kitchen and allows it to appear cleaner. The flooring in the kitchen is a grey-white marbled tile which is later used in the bathroom.
The doors and skirting boards were painted anthracite to keep the property appearing more cohesive and is complimented by the white walls and dark-grey carpeting as it allows the space to look larger, which was used throughout the property, in the living space, bedrooms and all hallways.
Then within the bathroom the walls and flooring are grey-white marbled tiling was which was used for the most part but on the bath wall a darker grey thin stoned slab was used to add to the aesthetic.
In the living space we also added and electrical fireplace to allow the living area to feel cosier.
Throughout the property, all new plumbing and heating systems have been installed including: a new boiler, radiators and all pipe work. Plus, full new rewire which involves; a consumer unit, spotlights in bathrooms and kitchen and pendant lights in all other rooms and hallways. Also, recently redone plaster work, damp proofing and skimming all walls and ceilings. Then, all joinery was completed for example: Doorframes, Doors, Ironmongery, Skirting boards, Architrave, Kitchen and Flooring.
92 Katherine Street is currently being rented out at a price of £450 per month and is valued at £80,000.
