35 Morven Terrace is a three-bedroom terraced house, which was originally built between 1930-1949. Once purchased by ourselves, we began renovations which were completed in 2021.
The property itself includes; three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living space, two bathrooms, utility room and a loft cinema room. This property was co-designed by ourselves and those living there which resulted in a mix of comfort and modern aspects to create a clean-cut but homely environment.
The kitchen itself was created through our team and Howdens joinery. The design of the kitchen is simplistic and monochromatic, using the dark cabinets complimented by the grey, marbled counter tops. The countertop was also extended to create a breakfast bar as a congenial way to incorporate an area to enjoy meals without taking away large amounts of space and allow those living there to decorate the space if they pleased.
The bathrooms use a mix of light and dark grey tiling to separate the floor and the walls, along with with anthracite accents in the taps, radiators and sink cabinets. This is cohesive with the rest of the house as the doors and skirting boards are all charcoal.
The bedrooms and the living space were kept simplistic to allow it to be personally refurbished. Finally, the loft was renovated and done-out to create a mini-cinema, creating a comfy area for the family living there.
Throughout the property, all new plumbing and heating systems have been installed including: a new boiler, radiators and all pipe work. Plus, full new rewire which involves; a consumer unit, spotlights in all rooms and hallways. Also, recently redone plaster work, damp proofing and skimming all walls and ceilings. Then, all joinery was completed for example: Doorframes, Doors, Ironmongery, Skirting boards, Architrave, kitchen and Flooring.
35 Morven Terrace is currently being rented out at a price of £650 per month and is valued at £140,000.
