30 Alexandra Road is a two-bedroom terraced (first floor) terraced flat, which was originally built between 1930-1949. Once purchased by ourselves, we began renovations which were completed in 2021.
The property itself includes: two bedrooms, a living space, a kitchen and one bathroom. This property was designed interiorly by ourselves in which we decided to create a more minimalistic feel with the grey cool tones with hints of modern aspects.
The kitchen was co-designed by our team and Howdens Joinery. When working together we decided on dove grey cabinets complimented by an anthracite marbled countertop to create a modern feel within the kitchen itself. Following this decision, the use of the anthracite sink was to make the space appear cohesive allowing the kitchen to look cleaner.
Another aspect which was used in this flat was the anthracite skirting boards and doors- the use of this colour flows through this property which keeps the property simplistic and compliments the other interior aspects and thus more aesthetically pleasing.
Both the living space and bedrooms contain dark grey carpets to reduce stains and damage but include white walls to break up the space and make the space appear larger.
Finally, the bathroom re-introduces the grey tones from the kitchen to continue the monochromatic scale further. It includes a walk-in shower, a panelled bath, a sink cabinet and toilet (all brand-new).
Throughout the property, all new plumbing and heating systems have been installed including: a new boiler, radiators and all pipe work. Plus, full new rewire which involves; a consumer unit, spotlights in all rooms and hallways. Also, recently redone plaster work, damp proofing and skimming all walls and ceilings. Then, all joinery was completed for example: Doorframes, Doors, Ironmongery, Skirting boards, Architrave, Kitchen and Flooring.
30 Alexandra Road is currently being rented out at a price of £400 per month and is valued at £65,000.
